99 Walks , LLC

Thank you for being part of the 99 Walks community. We value our relationship with you and take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the 99 Walks website, participate in our challenges, subscribe to our newsletters or download and use our app as well as what we do with that information.

Many privacy policies are dozens of pages long. We have tried to keep it simple and avoid as much “legalese” as possible. Let’s start with our three top policies:

First, we will not sell personal information we have about you.

Second, we will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Third, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information remains personal.

Now, let’s get into details.

  • Your address;

  • Your IP address;

  • Credit card or other payment information;

  • Your location;

  • The number of miles you’ve walked and where; and

  • Anything else you choose to include in your communication with us.

If you encounter an error when using the 99 Walks app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. We use this data to help understand, and correct, any errors.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH THAT INFO?

We use the personal info we collect in connection with the performance of our responsibilities to you including:

  • Providing products, services or information;

  • Delivering on our obligations to you for the sale of goods and services;

  • Informing you about new challenges and products that we believe may be of interest to you;

We may, from time to time, also use information we collect in our marketing programs to provide you with information about products and services which may be of interest to you. We may use the information that you’ve shared to tailor those advertisements and offers to those that we specifically believe may be of interest to you.

We may use non-personal information for research and product development. When we do so, the information and data we collect and use for any such purpose will not include any personal identification.

In furtherance of these efforts, we may, from time to time, conduct surveys in which we ask our users and members specific questions. Participation in these surveys will always be optional.

We may run sweepstakes and contests. If you choose to participate in sweepstakes or contest, we will ask for contact information which we then might use to contact you about that sweepstakes or contest and to contact you for other promotional, marketing and business purposes. However, we will always make that clear in the rules and will provide you with the option to opt-out of any communications that are not related to awarding prizes.

We may enable you to “refer a friend,” invite a friend to become part of your 99 Walks team or send them other specific information or offers. When you do so, your friend’s email will be used strictly for that purpose and will not be used by us for any other purpose.

99 Walks may use the personal information we collect in other ways for which we have a legitimate interest including research, fraud protection or other ways that we specifically disclose to you at that time and to which you consent.
